Sourced from the high-altitude heart of Gedeb, Worka Chelbessa is home to some of Ethiopia’s most spectacular coffees. Since 2017, visionary producer Neguesse Debela has transformed the Danche washing station into a center for excellence, producing immaculate washed and natural lots alongside experimental processes.
Unlike many delicate Ethiopian coffees, those from Worka Chelbessa are celebrated for their unique balance: a great juicy body and deep sweetness paired with the elegant citrus and floral tones the region is famous for. Expect a brilliantly floral cup with a juicy, coating body, bright citrus, and a lingering honey sweetness.
